This workshop explores the importance of being an ethical bystander to create a safe and respectful UWA community.
In this practical 2-hour session we will:
- cover the reasons why we often don't intervene in problem situations to support others
- explore the pros and cons of helping
- use the Step-Up Action Plan in a variety of scenarios to practice safely helping others or calling out disrespectful behaviour
These sessions are delivered in-person on the Crawley campus and are aimed at students, but staff are also welcome to attend.
You are also welcome to request a bespoke Step-Up session for your Student Club/Society or staff work area (at the end of this form).
